GUST Studios and KOEI TECMO America have revealed the brand new upcoming Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe pack. This pack will include Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book DX, Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey DX, and Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings DX.
This release with also mark the first time ever that Atelier Sophie and Atelier Firis will be playable on Nintendo Switch, allowing players to sit back and enjoy the adventures that the games offer, or play the games on the go. The Atelier Mysterious Trilogy will also be able to be purchased individually, or all in one bundle.
The first instalment included in the bundle, Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book DX, tells the story of a young alchemist named Sophie Neuenmuller. Sophie happens to discover that she is the owner of a special enigmatic book that is fused with a lost soul. This book seems to hold the secrets to her powers.
She continues to unravel the book’s long forgotten memories as she experiments with alchemy, and eventually goes on a quest to uncover its origin. The DX version of the title includes a brand-spanking-new coming of age story for her, where she struggles to follow in the footsteps of her towns most famous alchemist, her late grandmother.
The second instalment, Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey DX, follows the story and adventures of the young and enthusiastic Firis Mistlud, and her elder sibling Liane Mistlund. The siblings have always lived in their rural town of Ertona, where Firis uses her unique and rare ability to find buried material crystals.
By complete chance, Firis learns of an Alchemy Exam and decides to take up the challenge, setting off on a grandiose quest to become an alchemist and uncover the many hidden mysteries that life holds. The DX version adds new vehicles and exploration items to improve the experience, as well as new quests.
The thrilling conclusion to the trilogy, Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings DX, follows the tale of twins, the reserved and caring Lydie Marlen, and an interesting and carefree Suelle Marlen. The twins assist their father at the family atelier, but they rarely see customers due to his inexperience in alchemy.
While honing their skills, they uncover a mysterious painting. The twins are pulled into a world bountiful with perfect alchemy materials. This was just the beginning of their goal to run the best atelier in the country. The DX version comes with a new painting that connects the twins to the world of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists in order to help Lady Nelke develop a city.
