Did you play Bayonetta in 2009? Maybe Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s decision to include Bayonetta as a combatant piqued your interest in the Umbra Witch? Do you know Vanquish, a third-person action game released in 2007?
If your answer is no to any of those questions, then you will have a great surprise in store (literally). Sega will release a 10th Anniversary Collection in February 2020. It includes both Bayonetta and Vanquish for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The price is set at $40 USD and Sony promises two exclusive static scenes for download for those who prefer digital. Both games will run at 4k 60fps.
However, the big news is that both games, which now share a Steelbook case in the physical edition, will present some all-new b0x art, created solely for this 10th Anniversary Collection. Sega released a new behind-the-scenes video of the process on Twitter.
If you like action games and missed these two gems (I personally love both Bayonetta games and had a fun time with Vanquish back when it was released), then now is the perfect time to play them, but if you just want to relive some epic, gargantuan boss fights, frantic fisticuffs and cover-based combat with a twist, then you can.
Now give us Bayonetta 3, please. If you’re excited for this 10th anniversary pack, you can let us know over on the Informed Pixel Facebook page, or on the Informed Pixel Twitter account. For more gaming news you can keep up to date at Informed Pixel.
The 10th Anniversary Collection of Bayonetta and Vanquish will release on February 18th, 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
