Today, Bethesda introduced a new title during it’s Bethesdaland conference through use of Full Motion Video, fitting quite appropriately the general theme of the conference; the trailer, however, transferred efficiently to an animated trailer showcasing the new Wolfenstein title.
The world seems very lived in, and displayed a German Nazi purchasing a milkshake speaking to a fireman, asking further for identification. It cuts quickly to an action scene on water.
In this portion, tensions are rising high and guns and bullets are everywhere. The game’s protagonist, William, appears with a mask, speaking of revolution in America. In this world, the Nazi’s are running the show, meaning that the use of a rebellion narrative is sure to make for an interesting experience.
The trailer was quite comedic, though it was clear that the title will be action filled and fast paced.
This Wolfenstein will be just as gory, just as thrilling, and just as awesome as its predecessors- adding what seems to be nothing but exciting and unique addition to the series.
It was announced that all titles will be available by the end of the year- meaning that the new Wolfenstein title will be available this year.
