Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion & Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the fourth and fifth entries to the Elder Scrolls series, were some of the most sold and highest rated games of all time. As a result, and with the trend of most publishers in the gaming industry, you would think that Bethesda would be rushing to exploit the situation and announce the next iteration of the well established series. However, it appears that it is quite the opposite.
Bethesda’s Vice President of Marketing, Pete Hines, has revealed that we won’t be seeing the next Elder Scrolls for a “very long time” as they have their entire team 100% dedicated to Fallout 4. Fans of the Elder Scrolls series might be disappointed to hear announcement, however, we must all admire Bethesda’s devotion for making their games full to the brim with content, without sacrificing by making unfinished products like some titles being released in the modern age.
