Xbox and Bethesda have revealed that five popular titles are being enhanced on the new Xbox Series X/S. This comes in the wake of Bethesda joining the Xbox family and a series of titles being made available on Xbox Game Pass. You can read more about that here.
The games being boosted consist of Dishonored: Definitive Edition, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Prey. Each of these games will have significantly improved FPS and ensure smoother gameplay. This boost is for the Xbox Series X|S only.
As part of the recent news of Bethesda games joining Xbox Game Pass, people playing the titles above on Xbox Game Pass will still benefit from the enhanced game. This also applies for those who have purchased individual titles.
In addition, Xbox have described that the FPS improvements will, “enhance the experience while maintaining the game’s original intent.” The scale of improvement will be nearly doubles, from 30 FPS to nearly 60 FPS. They also included some sample footage on the Xbox website.
