Blizzard has revealed a new hero for Overwatch today: Ana, the healing sniper.
Ana brings her Biotic Rifle, Biotic Grenades, and her sleep darts to land a support role in Overwatch. Her Biotic Rifle and Biotic Grenades both have the ability to heal teammates or harm enemies upon impact, depending on what you hit. Biotic Grenades will also buff any heals to teammates and null any healing done to enemies for an undetermined amount of time.
Her ultimate ability, Nano Shot, will apply a combat boost to any one of her allies, allowing them to move faster, deal more damage and reduce incoming damage over a period of time. All of these abilities should make Ana a very well-rounded support character in Overwatch, however there is currently no information on when she will be released.
Overwatch is currently available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
