With the official launch of Heroes of the Storm 2.0 behind them, Blizzard is rewarding their most dedicated fans with freebies for the next few weeks, starting with the return of the Genji skin for Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm.
Players who game with their friends in Heroes of the Storm five times in the next week will unlock a series of Overwatch-themed content for Heroes and Oni Genji skins for Overwatch.
The news comes with the arrival of a massive update to the Heroes of the Storm, which takes heavy inspiration from Overwatch by adding Loot Chests, Genji as a playable character and Hanamura as a battleground.
But it doesn’t end with Genji. Blizzard has set the stage for four weeks worth of crossover content, with new D. Va skins dropping next week for Overwatch players, as well as Loot Crates in upcoming weeks.
Blizzard also released a new trailer for Genji, teasingthe arrival of even more Overwatch heroes to the Heroes of the Storm universe. Near the end of the trailer, D. Va drops in to give Genji a hand fighting Diablo.
D. Va is listed as a new hero on Blizzard’s website, but no release date has been announced at this time.
