Brendan Greene, also known for being the creative director of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, will deliver the opening “storyline” keynote at this year’s PAX East 2018.
The press release mentions that Greene will speak about his success in creating the popular game commonly referred to as PUBG. His work started in 2013 with a known Arma 2 mod known as DayZ: Battle Royale. Brendan Green has spoken about his success in recent weeks, but this may be an opportunity for him to provide an in-depth look at the personal development process of his career.
“Brendan Greene’s story is a fascinating one, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is only the latest chapter,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, Penny Arcade. “At four full days, this year’s PAX East 2018 is shaping up to be the biggest one yet, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have the founder of the Battle Royale phenomenon kick off the festivities.”
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available for Xbox One, PC, iOS and Android devices. PAX East 2018 takes place in Boston, MA, from April 5th to April 8th.
