We have another Nintendo Switch exclusive barreling onto the scene with Brigandine: The Legend of Runeseria. This is a JPPG Turn Based Strategy game in which you, the player, command one of five nations and one tribe. The one which you choose is fated to conquer the land of Runeseria, all of which give you the ability to command platoons of troops and summon ancient monsters to ultimately seal your conquest of the land.
The development studio responsible for Brigandine: The Legend of Runeseria, Matrix Software, is also responsible for such games as Dragon Quest 3, Los in Blue 2, Final Fantasy 3, Final Fantasy 4 and the Alundra Series.
The Five Nations and Tribe you can play include The Norzaleo Kingdom, Republic of Guimule, Shinobi Tribe, Mana Saleesia, United Islands of Mirelva and the Holy Gustava Empire. The player can play any of these factions throughout the campaign. All these factions have their own strengths and weaknesses which the player will need to learn to be successful.
The art style of the nation leaders the player takes control of look fantastic. They are very visually striking, which is just as well as they’re the images the player will be looking at while playing through the campaign. You can find more information on the game here,
