Bright Memory is a visually stunning FPS that has been developed by a solo developer over at FYQD Studio and the title is being published by PLAYSIM.
The story revolves around the discovery of a substance that is capable of reviving the dead. A shadowy Private Military Organisation wants to claim this special life altering substance for their own nefarious needs. Players step into the role of Special Forces operative Shelia, who has been transported to a mystical island floating in the sky above the North Pole.
This strange island is inhabited by mythical creatures which sees Dragons and Demons roam along side the resurrected Human corpses. Bright Memory also features combo driven combat that mixes sword and gunplay and turns them into a stylish combat system. Players will also have a Pulse Glove that is used to extend combos, and to knock enemies into the air, to enable extended combo moves for massive points.
“The input of players who have supported Bright Memory in early access has been invaluable in finding the right balance of myth and sci-fi as well as gameplay mechanics,” Sole Developer Xiancheng Zeng of FYQD Studio has said. “This update may be the last for this version of Bright Memory, but that just means I can pour all my efforts into the development of Bright Memory: Infinite to maximize the impact of its fast-paced combat and gorgeous ray-tracing.”
This new 1.0 Update means that the game has left Early Access and has also introduced a plethora of new content to the game. This update brings with it an “Office Lady” skin, which brings the total outfits for Shelia up to four, and adds five new subtitled languages: Latin American Spanish, German, French, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
In tandem with this 1.0 update, a three-minute gameplay video for the full-length title Bright Memory: Infinite debuts and features previously unseen environments, enemies, and weather effects.
Bright Memory: Infinite will be the expanded version of the game and will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in Q4 2020. As an added bonus owners of Bright Memory will receive a free PC copy of Bright Memory: Infinite for when it launches. You can check out the STEAM Store page for the game here; Steam page.
