The trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III‘s next expansion was just released.
Titled Zombies Chronicles, the next piece of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a throwback to fans of the Zombie game modes dating back to Call of Duty: World at War. Levels from Black Ops, Black Ops 2, and the aforementioned World At War will return with remastered visuals, new gameplay mechanics, and all of the features found in Black Ops III.
As part of the official announcement, Activision released a cinematic trailer for fans to view. The trailer kicks off with a girl playing with a snowglobe, before traveling through time into the series’ older levels. You can take a look at the trailer for yourself after the break.
Playstation 4 owners will be among the first to enjoy the new content when it arrives on May 16th. There is no release date set for the Xbox One or PC versions of the game, but we expect to see it in the following month. Unfortunately, the content is not part of the season pass, meaning it will launch on all platforms for the price point of $29.99.
What do you think of the announcement? Will you be revisiting Call of Duty: Black Ops III when this is released?
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and PC.
