XSEED just announced an expanded version of their cult classic, Corpse Party. For the first time, Corpse Party will release on console with additional features! Corpse Party 2021 will add 16 extra chapters, all of which expands the series’ lore, characters, and relationships.
In addition, the title will also have two new episodes filled with all-new characters with exciting roles to play! However, these brand new additions will never take away Corpse Party’s critical features, from its atmospheric 16-bit graphics to its immersive Japanese sound design.
Corpse Party is a horror role-playing game about Ayumi Shinozaki and her friends surviving an alternate reality version of their school. Where it’s filled to the brim with vengeful spirits of elementary school kids. The player’s objective is to uncover the secrets surrounding the tragedy.
Corpse Party 2021 will release on October 20th in the west. the game will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game will also come out on Windows 10 PCs via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store with an optional bundle with the original Corpse Party for 25% off.
The game will cost $19.99 on all platforms with a 10% off discount during launch week. (Though the PlayStation 4 discount are only available to PlayStationPlus members)
