With the launch of the next generation of consoles just around the corner, Microsoft shows that its not yet ready to leave the Xbox One behind. The company revealed a new version of the Xbox One X console that will be themed apon CD Projekt Red’s upcoming RPG – Cyberpunk 2077.
This special edition console bundle will launch sometime in June 2020. The game however is slated for release on September 17th, but if you want to add to the experience with a brand new console and matching controller then Microsoft have you covered.
The controller will be able to be purchased separately and will join a wealth of other Cyberpunk 2077 themed accessories. Amongst these accessories are: SteelSeries headset, Seagate game drive and a Xbox Pro Controller charging stand.
The console will also be the final custom Xbox One X ever released as Microsoft shifts focus upon the upcoming Xbox Series X. The console will be limited to only 45,000 units so will already be a sought after console for years to come.
This console is already shaping up to be the coolest version of the Xbox One X to date. The overall design features custom panelling, laser etchings, a bright cool custom design finish and to top it off…parts of it glow in the dark!
The limited-editon controller is silver and black and also features graffiti and scratch marks that also adorn the console. Both console and the controller fit the look and feel of being a part of the Cyberpunk 2077 world. If this isn’t enough – a full digital copy of the Cyberpunk 2077 game will also come included as part of the bundle.
Whilst the console is not yet available for pre-order, fans wanting more information are directed to check out the Microsoft store page (here) for more information as it becomes available.
The controller however, is available to pre-order from selected retailers and Microsoft’s official page is recommending a $79.99 rrp. You can also check out a list of retailers by clicking on the site here.
