Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver will be partnering up to publish Kingdom Come: Deliverance when it launches next fall.
Koch Media, who is the parent company for Deep Silver, will be taking care of publishing Kingdom Come: Deliverance on the Xbox One and Playstation 4. Warhorse Studios will continue to work on publishing the game to PC marketplaces such as steam, but Deep Silver’s involvement will be on the consoles.
Warhorse Studios promises that this will change nothing in the game’s development period as the team is still hard at work in delivering the game to its fans. “You, our Kickstarter Backer and the Kingdom Come: Deliverance Community won’t have to face any changes in the game, your backer rewards or assistance.” Said Dan Varva, Community Manager for Warhorse Studios. “Everything stays as it was and the promised rewards will be delivered in 2017, shortly after the game is released.”
The game, funded on Kickstarter, earned more than £800,000 above its initial Kickstarter goal. Since being funded in 2014, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has experienced a couple development issues, which caused the game to slip into a 2017 release window from its original 2016 date.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be released in 2017 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
