Bungie and Activision have confirmed the existence of Destiny’s sequel, Destiny 2.
The announcement comes from the game’s official Twitter page, as indicated in the tweet located below. We don’t have any information regarding the release date or the platforms it will be supported on, but we can assume that the game would be available later this year for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 from what we already know.

Last week, we reported on a rumour that the game has been leaked via the official marketing posters found at a Gamestop in Italy. That leak suggested that the game would launch on September 8th, 2017, with the game’s beta arriving before that date for pre-order customers. There is no clarification if any of this is true, but, we expect more information to come from the publisher shortly.
Destiny 2 is rumoured to release on September 8th, 2017 for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
