Bungie has released the official reveal trailer for Destiny’s upcoming expansion titled Rise of Iron.
The Rise of Iron expansion may be Destiny’s largest expansion yet, with even more content than last year’s The Taken King. The new expansion will feature new areas to explore on Earth called the Plaguelands, which players will explore while playing through the new storyline presented in Rise of Iron.
Bungie’s next expansion will also contain a whole new raid for up to six-players to participate in, as well as a selection of new gear ranging from weapons to armor.
Pre-ordering the newest expansion will score players the Iron Gjallarhorn, one of the better rocket launchers in The Taken King expansion. The new item can be seen near the end of the trailer posted after the break. It is important noting that players must own Destiny: The Taken King in order to play Rise of Iron.
Destiny: Rise of Iron will be launching on September 20th, 2016 for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
