In keeping with tradition, Death Star, DICE’s next upcoming expansion for Star Wars Battlefront, will be including two new playable characters. This September, when the DLC launches, players will be able to play as the iconic wookie himself: Chewbacca. Also keeping with tradition, the second DLC character is one of the more obscure characters from the Star Wars universe: the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk.
No other details on these new characters are known, but the addition of Chewbacca is sure to please fans of the series. Besides the two new characters, the DLC will also include a plethora of new maps, and finally, a splitscreen mode. Titled Skirmish, the upcoming mode is said to allow for much-needed offline play.
As stated, the Death Star expansion launches this September.
