The final battle with Hell and The Dark Lord is finally upon us! id Software has revealed the new trailer DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2; alongside its surprisingly close release date!
Following the events of The Ancient Gods Part 1, the story will follow the Doom Slayer as he fights across the devastating remains on Earth, ancient Sentinel settlements, and beyond. This will build-up to the final showdown with The Dark Lord; and will conclude The Slayer’s main arc that began in DOOM (2016).
The Ancient Gods Part 2 shows off a multitude of new features, including a new melee weapon called “Hellbreaker”. This new hammer will serve a similar purpose to The Crucible from DOOM Eternal‘s main campaign, but with more of a smashing result!
The DLC is also adding new enemies and upgraded existing enemies alike; which will likely result in the most challenging DOOM experience yet! Some of the see enemies include armoured Baron of Hell’s, upgraded Imps, shielded chain-gunners, and more! It also appears that the player will be getting assistance from allies to some extent!

DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 is releasing on March 18th, 2021; exactly one day after the trailer has been revealed! It will be available on PC via Steam Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 for $19.99. It is also available with the DOOM Eternal Year One pass, which also includes The Ancient Gods Part 1 for $29.99.
