During Ubisoft’s E3 event, Aisha Tyler was on stage to introduce two upcoming VR titles that the Montreal developer has in store: Eagle Flight and Star Trek: Bridge Crew.
Eagle Flight is a multiplayer first person flying simulator where players will team up with friends to compete against other squads in different game modes. Today, the city of Paris was home to three-on-three capture the flag as the teams ducked and weaved through the parks and buildings, dodging and shooting as they raced to collect the rabbit and return it to their base.
Star Trek: Bridge Crew places the player and three friends in the bridge of a virtual starship, where they must work together as Captain, Engineer, Tactician, and Navigator, to successfully pilot the ship and avoid destruction. The co-operative gameplay looks to be very immersive, and Levar Burton was onstage to talk about how much he enjoyed his chance to play it with other Star Trek stars.
Both Eagle Flight and Star Trek: Bridge Crew are on track for a Fall 2016 release.
