Today, Hello Games released the first of a 4 part trailer series for the highly anticipated title No Man’s Sky.
In the EXPLORE trailer, gamers get to see one of the main elements of No Man’s Sky, space and ground exploration. It can be unanimously agreed that with blooming colors, expansive landscapes, and interesting objects, No Man’s Sky looks like the perfect universe to explore and experience. The trailer showcases the extensiveness of the engine is shown, making full use of the ability to generate unique and amazing worlds filled with creatures to interact with and adventures to be had.
The trailer ends with a quote from André Gide (French author and winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1947),”Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” This thematic statement pulls together the idea of exploration shown in the trailer and further in the full game, daring players to challenge the vastness of the universe contained in their gaming systems.
Following this trailer, we can expect to see 3 more trailers to show off other features of the game – FIGHT, TRADE, and SURVIVE.
With No Man’s Sky going gold and it’s release approaching, it’s no wonder that this title has such a buzz surrounding it. With innovative ideas and astounding technology gamers everywhere are waiting on the edges of their seats waiting for new trailers and new gameplay footage.
No Man’s Sky will be available for the Playstation 4 and PC on August 9th, 2016.
