Bethesda has announced it’s plans to release downloadable content for Fallout 4.
The add-ons titled Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor are all scheduled to launch before June, which could line-up well with Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference.
The Automatron downloadable pack will retail for $9.99 USD and will enable players to build and mod their own robot companions using hundreds of mods, paint schemes and voices to customize their new friend. The Wasteland Workshop pack will include some new content to deck out your settlement like cages to capture creatures, nixi tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more; this will retail for $4.99 USD. Both of these downloadable content packs are scheduled to launch in March 2016 and April 2016 respectively.
The big piece of content offered in this announcement is the Far Harbor expansion, retailing for $24.99 USD. Bethesda has described this pack as the “largest landmass for an add-on that we’ve ever created”, bundling new faction quests, creatures and lots of new area to explore, Far Harbor will launch in May 2016.
All of the downloadable content will be available via the season pass for the game which you can purchase for $29.99 until March 1st. After this date though, the season pass will go up in price to $49.99 in order to accommodate for more downloadable content post-Far Harbor. Those who decide to purchase the Season Pass before March 1st will still qualify for downloadable content for the life of the game.
Fallout 4 is currently available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
