Ubisoft Forward Show kicked off E3 2021 and showed off a ton of anticipated content. Ubisoft revealed a new Far Cry 6 cinematic trailer during the event, featuring dictator Antón Castillo making a grand entrance.
The trailer begins with Dani sneaking a group of people, including Diego, onto an escape boat. Things soon go wrong as the dictator Antón Castillo, played by award-winning actor Giancarlo Esposito, reveals himself to be on board.
Esposito gives a chilling performance as Antón, revealing just how evil yet cunning he truly is—calling out his son Diego from the crowd and shaming him. He drags the young Diego away, closing the door as the other escapees are shot dead.
This brief but dark trailer sets the tone for Far Cry 6‘s story, world and characters. The cinematic is as beautiful as ever, making for a realistic, gritty experience overall. Far Cry 6‘s story is shaping up to be something else; watch the trailer yourself for the true experience.
