Retail copies of Final Fantasy XV have been spotted in the wild and with it, plenty of spoilers, including the game’s ending.
The spoilers have led to the game’s director, Hajimi Tabata, making an official statement. He warns that copies of the game have broken their street date for next Tuesday and that fans are spoiling the game online.
“We will also do everything in our capacity to prevent unauthorized footage from appearing online. We would also like to ask anybody that has obtained an early copy of the game to be respectful to those that are looking forward to the official release and to not spoil the surprises for everyone.”
It is implied that fans should stay away from traditional message boards and social media altogether in order to avoid spoilers for Final Fantasy XV‘s upcoming release.
Final Fantasy XV releases for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on November 29th, 2016.
