At this year’s E3, Ubisoft unveiled a new action game called For Honor.
It started with a stunning trailer showing destruction and landscapes of the 3 factions you will most likely be acting as or encountering. The trailer showed samurai, vikings, and armored knights.
Gameplay footage was displayed next, showing the player as a viking, with a fleet of long boats, raiding a Japanese castle. The hack-n-slash combat seems a bit more technical than might be otherwise thought. Several button prompts occurred, and it looked like there might be a system for parrying and countering certain enemies’ attacks as well.
For Honor will launch on February 14th, 2017, on all next gen consoles.
