Update: Blizzard’s Overwatch won the coveted Game of the Year award.
Original: Blizzard’s Overwatch has net three awards during the Game Awards this evening.
Impressively, Overwatch took three big awards this year, including Best E-Sports Game, Best Game Direction and Best Multiplayer title. There were a lot of AAA games that overwatch beat out, like Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, League of Legends and more, making it an impressive feat that Overwatch won a total of three awards.
At the time of this writing, we have yet to learn which video game took Game of the Year, as Overwatch is one of the nominees for this category. Stay tuned to InformedPixel for more information on this category.
