Microsoft kicked off their Inside Xbox Gamescom coverage with the announcement of Hunt Showdown coming to the Xbox One.
This survival game is a unique co-operative title where you will team up with friends to defend against AI and player-controller enemies in an effort to obtain a “bounty”. The objective is to survive and retrieve the bounty, but the game will challenge you at every corner.
“Bringing Hunt: Showdown to Xbox Game Preview means getting the game in front of a whole new audience, and we can’t wait to hear the feedback that Xbox players bring to the game and the community. This is another important step in taking our development to the next level, and we’re glad we can share this announcement with you.”
The game is scheduled to launch through Microsoft’s Xbox Game Preview program, but a release date has yet to be set.
Gamescom 2018 takes place in Cologne, Germany from August 21st to August 25th. Stay tuned to Informed Pixel for more coverage from this year’s Gamescom
Hunt Showdown is already available for PC, with the Xbox version releasing later this year.
