The first piece of downloadable content is arriving for Gears of War 4 on November 1st.
Two maps, Checkout and Drydock, from Gears of War 3 are being redesigned for Gears of War 4. Checkout is redesigned to show how Cole’s hometown looks 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3, which is slowly being corroded away by nature itself. Drydock takes place on a COG ship, which houses multiple storage containers in building-like fashion. Both of these maps are available in the Versus and Horde game modes.
Season Pass holders will be able to download the new map pack on November 1st before it becomes available to the general public on November 8th. The Coalition confirmed that there would be at least two maps released each month for the foreseeable future.
Gears of War 4 is available for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
