Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto IV is now playable on the Xbox One, thanks to Microsoft’s backward compatibility feature.
All versions of Grand Theft Auto IV and it’s related downloadable content, are now fully compatible with the Xbox One. This includes physical and digital copies of the base game, as well as the later editions Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City and Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition.
Rockstar Games confirmed that game saves from the original Xbox 360 versions of the game are also transferable thanks to the cloud save feature on the Xbox. Fans wishing to transfer their progress will need to ensure their saves are stored on the cloud, which they can access on the Xbox One.
Grand Theft Auto IV is available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
