It appears that your copy of Halo 5: Guardians ‘Limited Collector’s Edition’ may include with a physical copy shall you request it.
Fans who were looking forward to the upcoming game, Halo 5: Guardians, were very disappointed when they learned that the Halo 5 Limited Collector’s Edition would include a digital copy of the game instead of a physical copy. Since the announcement, fans of the game addressed their concerns on Reddit and the official community forums.
While no information was provided on how the process of converting your digital copy was discussed, Community Manager over at 343 Industries had this to say:
“When we last left off, we let you know that we had heard the feedback that some of you prefer a physical disc instead of a digital copy, and that we were exploring options. Today, we’re able to confirm that for those who would like a physical disc, we’ll provide an option for fans to exchange their digital copy for a physical copy at no additional cost. We’ll get into details as we get closer to launch, and we’d like to once again thank you for the feedback.”
Halo 5: Guardians is scheduled to be released on October 27th, 2015 exclusively for the Xbox One.
