The next free content update for Halo 5: Guardians featuring the new game mode, Warzone Firefight, will be available on June 29th.
Originally called Firefight when it launched with Halo 3: ODST, Warzone Firefight brings back the chaotic wave-based combat game mode to Halo 5: Guardians. The two maps, Attack on Sanctum and Prospect will support Warzone game types including the brand new Warzone Firefight mode mentioned above. The other map, Molten will be available for play in Arena game types, so expect to see this map being cycled through online matchmaking.
Other inclusions such a the Halo 2 Beam Rifle and a new vehicle called the Wasp will also be included, both of which can be unlocked through Halo 5: Guardian’s REQ Pack system.
Players who don’t own a copy of Halo 5: Guardians will be able to join in the fun from June 29th to July 5th, provided they have an active Xbox Live Gold Membership. During this time, the game will also be on sale for %50 off,
