As hype for Halo Infinite builds after E3 2021, 343 Industries have been working hard to bring more content to Halo: The Master Chief Collection to help hold fans over! Titled “Elite”, Halo: The Master Chief Collection‘s 7th Season is full of highly requested content!
The Sangheili Control Halo 3!
As this Season’s title suggests, the Elites are the primary focus for new content. More specifically, the Elites of Halo 3 are in the spotlight, receiving tons of brand new armour sets and blades for the honourable Sangheili.
As if it were fate itself, seven new Elite armour sets are releasing in Season 7! With Halo 3’s per-item customization, each unique collection can be thoroughly mixed & matched. As a result, fans of the Elites will be able to look as dangerous yet honourable as ever!
In addition to the unique armour sets, new skins are being added to the alien’s arsenal! Seven new energy sword colours are being added: white, green, yellow, orange, purple, red and pink! Every armour set & energy sword colour represents an essential aspect of the lore of the Sangheili, and players can learn more about them here!
The Halo Online map titled ‘Edge’, which appeared in Season 6 flights, is also added to Halo 3! In addition, edge & the previously added Waterfall will now appear as standard maps in online Social playlists! That said, Halo 3 isn’t the only game getting updates this Season!
Halo: Customisation Evolved!
The Spartan-IV’s in Halo 4‘s multiplayer are getting some much-needed additions to their unique armour! Firstly, the 4-sets of armour included in the classic Champions Bundle are making a return, including the Mark V! Secondly, 343 Industries are turning up the Halo Infinite hype by adding the game’s new Keystone Helmet to Halo 4!
Additionally, Halo 4 is getting new weapon & vehicle skins with elemental armour effects! Alongside this, Halo: Combat Evolved will also be receiving its fair share of new vehicle skins as well! All of this, including Halo 3‘s additions, will be unlockable through the free Season 7 Battle-Pass!
Game-Changing Updates!
Halo: The Master Chief collection is receiving quite a few bug fixes and visual improvements on top of all of the new content! Perhaps the most exciting is Halo: Combat Evolves graphical upgrade, which will make the game look like the original Xbox version!
Many of us fans are glad to see new mod tools are being added to the PC Steam version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection! 343 Industries plans on releasing more information & deep details after the release of Season 7.
