During our review time with Halo Wars 2, we had the opportunity to record every cutscene in the game’s campaign. You can watch the video after the break.
Each of these cutscenes is produced by the animation studio Blur, who are responsible for delivering quality animations for various projects. They have had a hand in creating several video game based projects such as Riot Games’ League of Legends, Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive, and even Microsoft’s Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
The game is being released as part of Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program. Purchasing the digital version of the game on the Xbox One will unlock the PC version of the game, and vice versa. Information such as achievements, game saves and all progress are then carried between both platforms, so you can continue your progress; regardless of the platform players choose.
We warn of spoilers ahead, so if you plan to pick up the game on February 21st, be sure to stay clear of this video.
Halo Wars 2 launches on February 21st for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2 will receive the game on February 17th, four days ahead of it’s launch.
