Bethesda announced the dates for the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A., as well as some more information on what the beta will include.
The Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. will start on October 23rd for Xbox One players, and on October 30th for Playstation 4 and PC players. With that said, the B.E.T.A. servers will not go live 24/7. Instead, the times for it will be announced at a later date, because they want to stress test the servers as much as they can during specific parts of the day.
“During the B.E.T.A. one of our primary goals is to stress test and break the game.” The company said in a blog post. “As such, the servers will not be running 24/7; instead, they’ll be online during targeted timeframes so we can get as many people as possible playing at the same time. Why? Because that’s the best way put all our systems to the test and see how they respond.”
Right now, the only way to get access to the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. is by pre-ordering a copy of the game at select retailers. Full instructions on how to redeem your code can be found on the game’s official website.
Bethesda also mentioned that the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. will include the full game, with progress planned to be carried over when the game officially launches in November. The company was careful to note that any Achievement or Trophy progress will not be carried over to the full game.
Fallout 76 releases on November 14th, 2018, for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
