It has been a solid while since we have released any news regarding Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix‘s popular MMORPG. So for this weeks Highlight of the Week, I have decided to take it upon myself to deliver some news for the game.
On August 10th 2020, Square Enix had released their most recent patch titled Reflections of Crystal, marking the 3rd patch of the Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers expansion, and adding a multitude of additions and refinements to the game.
One of the particular additions I want to talk about is that Square Enix decided to move the free-trial period from level 1-30 to level 1-60, allowing you to experience more of the game than before.
So for those who are still on the fence about Final Fantasy XIV and wanting to try it out, or are tired of being emotionally abused by World of Warcraft, you will be able to play the game free. That’s right you heard me, free, up until level 60 before you have to subscribe to the game.
If you are interested in playing the game you are able to get the game on both PC and PlayStation 4, so at this point unless you are an Xbox One player, you have no excuse not to try it out. Come and experience the game that has amassed over 14-million players worldwide, you wont regret it.
