Yes, another Halo article. No, we aren’t going to stop writing Halo articles so often. Yes, our team is comprised of too many Halo fanboys. Setting aside our obvious passion for the Halo series, 343 Industries has finally revealed the long awaited Halo Infinite gameplay, finally ending the Halo news drought.
The gameplay reveal had shown a small amount as to what Halo Infinite is offering, and even though the reveal was small, the content shown was huge. From new mechanics, to all new weapons and gadgets added to the sandbox.
The game has also made quite a change from its prequel, Halo 5: Guardians, and honestly I think that’s for the best. The ‘classic’ art style has made its return, bringing back the feel that we had gotten with Bungie‘s original trilogy, but there is still 343 Industries designs for those who like the Halo 4/5 art styles.
The game is also going to be open world, which had proven a lot of rumours true. There is a map in game that you will be able to use to find your way around Zeta Halo, and you will also be able to do missions in any order you want.
Halo Infinite is slated to release this coming Holiday season, and will be releasing for Xbox One, Xbox Series-X, and PC, and yes it will be on Steam, for those who absolutely loathe the Microsoft Store.
