This weeks highlight is for the announcement of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. You might have seen our original post out this earlier this week, but if not, here’s another perspective on it.
Now I am not much of a PlayStation fan, but even I can recognize the prestige that the Spider-Man games from Sony hold. The last Spider-Man game was almost enough to get me to buy a PlayStation 4, but now I might honestly get a PlayStation 5 for Spider-Man: Miles Morales alone. I am a huge Spider-Man fan since I was young, and while I do enjoy the tale of Peter Parker, I enjoyed the story of Miles Morales even more.
The title is supposed to carry on the story of the 2018 Spider-Man game, and judging from the trailer, Miles will be training with Peter Parker, learning the ways of the Spider-Man. Insomniac has paid very close attention to detail as well, even going as far as making Miles Morales move different than Peter because he is indeed his own Spider-Man. Miles will have his own abilities unique to Peter as well, further cementing himself as his own character in the game.
The previous title already looked amazing graphically, but Insomniac has decided to take it up a notch with Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the game looks sharp, and cutting edge, utilizing the PlayStation 5’s capabilities and pushing it to its limits, making sure that one of their most critically acclaimed titles is ready and looking good for its holiday 2020 release.
