Real-time strategy fans now have another game to look forward to! Serious Bros. has officially announced that Imagine Earth is coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in July 2021. This strategy and real-time planet simulation launched on PC just last month, and it already has an active fan base.
So, what is Imagine Earth all about?
In this Science Fiction Strategy game, you would need to build up global civilisations across different planets. Expect other challenges as you form alliances or dominate competing organisations through economic warfare.
Throughout the game, you can also gather resources, produce goods and establish a kind of space trade—all of this while protecting colonists from the threat of climate change. The whole experience is a real-time battle for survival.
Keeping worldwide emissions to a minimum is key to avoiding extreme weather and rising sea levels. Therefore, expect to have first-hand control in reducing and maintaining the global carbon footprint.
Expect to be raided by invading aliens, locust swarms and pillaging space pirates. You will have to protect your colonies using tower defence mechanics and your can-do attitude.
There is a multi-planet story campaign to sink your teeth into, as well as a competition mode. In addition, there is an ‘endless’ mode with unlimited procedurally generated trials for more challenges. Lastly, you can custom build and terraform with the ‘Planet Editor’ mode. Ultimately, there are many ways to play.

Serious Bros. is a German company established in 2014. Founders Martin Wahnschaffe and Jens Isenee had the ambition to make a compelling strategic simulation with a genuine environmentalist message at its core.
With the help of composers Tilo Alpermann, Zevik Perry, illustrator Marko Fiedler and programmers Rico Possienka and Alex Leps, the game can be seen as a passion project since its inception.
