Good Shepherd Entertainment have released John Wick Hex for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. In addition to the successful release of the game on steam, Bithell Games have helped to reimagine the game controls to fit console. Good Shepherd Entertainment have also released an exclusive behind the scenes video to their YouTube channel.
In the video, producers from the John Wick film (as well as director Chad Stahelski) franchise discuss how well the game captures the essence of John Wick’s character and style. Additionally, game director/writer Mike Bithell (Bithell Games) describes how the mechanics of the game align with the franchise.
Players can look forward to a refreshing blend of both action and strategy. Furthermore, the gameplay in John Wick Hex is both unique and truly reflective of the smooth John Wick ‘Gun-Fu’ style.
Whilst playing from an above perspective, you must allocate movement and actions to fill a limited time whilst planning for where the next enemy will come from. What else sets this game apart is how you must pre-empt everything and watch it play out in front of you. However, be careful and make sure to balance risk and reward with every movement.
John Wick Hex is now available for $19.99 on Xbox One. The game is also available on Nintendo Switch and Steam via PC, both with a limited time 30% discount on the base price.
