KartRider: Drift, a title previously announced at the X019 event in London has some exciting news. They have launched their closed beta on Steam, Nexon Launcher and Xbox One. This closed beta is only available to those who were accepted, so sadly the general public will not be able to join in on the racing action.
The Closed Beta allows players to access an arrange of different characters and game modes. The available characters include Dao, Bazzi and Brodi, that each have an array of colourful kart options. Customisation options for characters and karts will be available, which allow a range of boosters, wheel types and more to be combined.
The Closed Beta will feature three main game modes. Speed Mode, Item Mode and Time Attack Mode. Speed Mode is a competitive mode that focuses on pure skills and drifting. It’s the core mode for learning the core elements of the game. Item mode is the best mode for new players who are looking to get used to the controls. Using various items such as mines, clouds, UFOs and more, players can gain the advantage and win the race. The final mode is Time Attack Mode, which allows players to improve their times and skills as they race against their own previously set records.
KartRider: Drift Closed Beta is available across different regions worldwide, including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Korea. For console players, KartRider: Drift will be available everywhere with the exception of Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan. KartRider: Drift closed beta is running from Thursday, December 5 at 5pm PST until Sunday, December 8 at 5 pm PST on Steam and Xbox One.
