Nintendo revealed a ton of awesome news and games during the most recent Nintendo Direct! Mario Party Superstars was one such reveal, so lets dive into what the newest instalment to the Mario party series brings!
Mario Party Superstars is the newest installment in the series, releasing with five classic N64 Mario Party maps, including Woody Woods, Yoshi’s Tropical Island and Horror Land! There will also be 100 minigames from the N64 and Gamecube Mario Party games, as well as many more! Mini games play with button controls, so you can play with the Joy-Con controller or bust out a Nintendo Switch controller.
Play anytime anywhere, whether it’s same system, local wireless, or online play! With a board game mode system which saves progress after every turn, you and your friends can start a match, take a break and return exactly where you left off! With the addition of stickers, you can praise or heckle your friends whenever you want. Online is supported by all modes, so you can meet up with friends and play a few mini games, or play a full 30 turn match!
Players can also go to an area called Mt. Minigames for Minigame only modes. There you can play every one of the 100 games the game has to offer. Whether its to see how many games you can win in a row in survival, or which two friends are better then the others in tag team mini games. Players can have a blast enjoying everything Mario Party Superstars has to offer!
