You may have heard that those subscribed to EA’s EA Access service, a program akin to PlayStation Plus and the like, will be getting access to a trial of the much-anticipated Mass Effect Andromeda.
However, today EA has revealed the restrictions that it’s placing upon the trial.
The trial itself will only have 10 hours of total gameplay until it expires, including both multiplayer and campaign gameplay. The latter will additionally be limited, not allowing you to progress past a certain point in the story, which is bad news for speed runners out there looking to blast through the story and get by without buying the game. The multiplayer however, will have no limit whatsoever besides the 10 hour overall one.
The trial itself launches March 16th, almost a whole week before Mass Effect Andromeda launches on March 21st, 2017.
