Capcom’s Mega Man Legacy Collection’s are finally making their way to the Nintendo Switch on May 22nd, 2018.
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 was just recently released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC, which saw great success on all three platforms as the classic Mega Man games returned to gaming platforms in 2017.
The Nintendo Switch versions of Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will include a “Challenge Mode”, offering a unique twist on Mega Man levels, complete with online leaderboards. Other Nintendo Switch features include amiibo-compatibility, unlocking fan-made levels that were only obtainable through the Nintendo 3DS version of the game.
Across both collections, nearly the entire main series of Mega Man games are available across all platforms, from the original Mega Man title which made its debut in Japan in 1987, to Mega Man 10 being released in 2010 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii.
Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will release for the Nintendo Switch on May 22nd, 2018.
