The fifth installment of the episodic adventure, Minecraft: Story Mode, will launch on March 29th, 2016 for most platforms.
Telltale Games has also announced that three new adventures will be coming to Minecraft: Story Mode “post-season“, meaning those who currently own the Season Pass will need to purchase Episodes 6, 7 and 8 separately to continue enjoying the game. While not much was announced regarding the details of the future episodes, we were told that it would not be directly tied with the main story and will feature three whole new adventures. Episodes 6, 7 and 8 are scheduled to launch later this year.
Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode 5: Order Up will launch on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, PC/MAC and mobile devices on March 29th, 2016. Strangely enough, there is no release date announced for the Wii U version of the game. We have reached out to Telltale Games for more information regarding this.
