Capcom’s release of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate X for the Nintendo Switch will feature some interesting cross-overs with Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The game doesn’t launch until August 28th for the Nintendo Switch, but Capcom will have this new collaboration live for the game’s launch. Link appears to be rocking his iconic Ancient Bow while he wields a sword and shield designed by the developers of the Munter Hunter franchise. Koroks also make an appearance, in the form of costume for your cat companion.
Capcom is no stranger to unique cross-overs, as seen with their inclusion of Devil May Cry’s Dante in Monster Hunter World. In past games, Lost Planet 2 was represented in Monster Hunter 3, with Monster Hunter Frontier receiving some exclusive Dead Rising 2 content on the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
Earlier this week, Breath of the Wild’s Link made an appearance in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, sporting his brand new Master Cycle Zero from BOTW’s “The Champion’s Ballad” expansion pack. It seems that Nintendo is open to the weirdest of crossovers staring our brave hero Link. What game will he appear in next?
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate X arrives for the Nintendo Switch on August 28th, 2018.
