Capcom have released two brand-new trailers for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin and Monster Hunter Rise. The games are produced by Ryozo Tsujimoto and directed by Yasunori Ichinose.
Some interesting story pieces were laid out for us in the new Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin trailer, with it showing us a mysterious light that seems to cause all monsters to enter an enraged state. The game also offers a new feature known as the Rite of Channelling, which will allow players to create their own unique monster companions.
Fans of the original title, Monster Hunter Stories, will be delighted to hear that the sequel intends to continue the story of the original. This new story will connect the main protagonist to Razewing Ratha, and will see our characters, some of whom are returning from the original game, setting out to discover the whereabouts the legendary Monster Rider Red.
Also present at the May Digital Event was a sneak peek into what Monster Hunter Rise fans can expect from the new Ver. 3.0 update. It included the arrival of a brand-new variant of the Valstrax, known as the Crimson Glow Valstrax. Also making their way to the game is the Apex Zinogre, which lets off a golden lightning look.
Along with these new variant additions in the inclusion of a brand-new quest, which will see the player face off against the Thunder Serpent Narwa and Wind Serpent Ibushi.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is set to release on the July 9th, 2021 for both the PC via Steam and the Nintendo Switch. For more news on great games, keep up to date with Informed Pixel!
