Stylish Indie Vampire RPG Nighthawks has received a batch of new information and a lavish new trailer.
Nighthawks is an urban fantasy role-playing game that challenges you to seize the night as a newly awakened Vampire. In this new world, you get to take over a failing nightclub and can reverse its fortunes using your new dark powers. Nighthawks features a world where Humans and Vampires struggle to co-exist so who you choose to befriend will effect each person’s story.
Nighthawks started life as a Kickstarter campaign back in 2018 in which the funding period ran from September 5th of the same year to October 5th. During this period funding for the title exceeded its funding goals by $11,128.
The Development team consists of a collaboration between Richard Cobbet, Ben Chandler and developer Wadjet Eye Games. Richard Cobbet, who is responsible for the design and writing of Nighthawks, has previously worked on Sunless Skies and Sunless Seas, two games that have been given near universal acclaim for the standard of writing.
The story is being created using Ink, which is the same storytelling technology used in 80 Days and Heaven’s Vault. With both critically acclaimed titles already showing what the technology can do. Ben Chandler is responsible for the art who has previously worked on Unavowed, Technobabylon and Shardlight, which all have a uniform unique art style in which he has carried over to Nighthawks.
