If you’ve been playing Pokémon GO, you will probably have seen an unusual silhouette in your nearby menu. You may have even encountered this strange-looking Pokémon firsthand and became even more puzzled when its name is shown as ‘???’.
Undoubtedly, at this point you will do what all good Pokémon trainers would do when faced with such a mystery; you’ll catch that Pokémon! But wait. No. In a successful ploy to toy with our emotions and pique our interest even further, the unknown Pokémon turns out to be a Ditto in disguise; bummer.
It has been announced however that this mysterious creature is called Moltan. It is a new legendary Pokémon so far only seen in Pokémon Go. However with the release of Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu/Eevee fast approaching we can safely assume that this little newcomer will be added to our teams soon enough.
Look out for Moltan’s debut when Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee! arrive on November 16th for the Nintendo Switch.
