Beginning on November 12th, gamersĀ from around the world will be able to download the latest Xbox One dashboard update titled the ‘New Xbox One Experience’. A tweet from Major Nelson reveals all:
Xbox fans mark your calendars: @XboxP3 just revealed new Xbox One experience & back compat start launching Nov. 12 for all Xbox One owners

The dashboard, previously only available to select preview program members, features a new Xbox dashboard face-lift along with the inclusion of Backwards compatibility, a feature announced during Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference in June. Starting on November 12th, several Xbox 360 titles will be playable on Xbox One including Gears of War 2, Burnout Paradise, Fallout 3 and more – free of charge.
While the list of games that will be playable have yet to be confirmed, we would expect to see a detail report come out shortly revealed what games made the cut for backwards compatibility. Stay tuned.
