A timeless classic is heading your way! KOEI TECMO America and developer Team NINJA have announced the release date for the long-awaited NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection!
What’s in the collection?
The collection will allow fans to experience the tale of “super ninja”, Ryu Hayabusa, as he faces deadly beings causing chaos around the world. In the collection, you will be able to experience three of the NINJA GAIDEN games (Including all the DLC!):
The original NINJA GAIDEN (2007) set the standards of the high-speed action in the series, introducing a variety of elements, such as; dual-wielding weapons, Mission Modes, and its all too well-known story mode.
Its successor, NINJA GAIDEN Sigma 2 (2009), continued the story of Ryu Hayabusa, while also introducing notable characters to the series, such as Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji. It also introduced four difficulty levels testing player’s battle techniques.
Finally, the last entry NINJA GAIDEN 3 (2012): Razor’s Edge, took the series to new heights with powerful new enemies as well as, introducing Kasumi into the rooster.
The collection offers you a chance to either relive the nostalgia or try a new challenging experience. Be sure to learn both defensive and offensive moves to out-manoeuvre your enemies. Players can also play and attempt to master their fan-favourites Ninja’s, including; Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Rachel, Momiji, and Kasumi.
Extra Tidbit
To celebrate the reveal of NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection, Team Ninja will run a special collaboration with Nioh 2. Fans of the series ‘Nioh’ will be able to use the “Dragon Ninja” skin which allows players to transform themselves into the main protagonist of NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection , Ryu Hayabusa.
If you own Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition, or Nioh 2, you can download this costume for use in-game starting on February 18th, 2021.
Release Date
