Hello Nintendo fans! It’s that time of the month again where we get some juicy news for the Nintendo Switch. Today we will be taking a dive into the Nintendo Monthly Rewind, so buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
There are many things that can come with a Hyrule Warriors title, however this month they wanted to announce that the Divine Beasts, featured heavily in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will be making their way to the title.
Nintendo gave us our first fierce look at Impa in the Tokyo Game Show, and showed off Princess Zelda and Urbosa, also featured in Breath of the Wild, in real-time action on Nintendo Treehouse Live. You can wield the power of these warriors and defend Hyrule officially on November 20th, 2020, or right now with a demo.
Nintendo Direct Mini
We have also, sadly, seen the last of the Nintendo Direct Mini partner showcase of the year. Alongside it, however, Nintendo has released a plethora of great games for all Nintendo fans to enjoy, including: No More Heroes, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, and Control: Ultimate Edition.
There was also a deeper look at the upcoming Bravely Default II, being developed by Claytechworks. We get a look at the unique characters, their awesome abilities and classes, and the release date. Also announced was Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town among many other titles. For more info on the other titles, watch the video below.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Don’t worry readers, we haven’t forgot about Smash. I mean, how could we when Steve, the main protagonist from Minecraft rocks the block on his way into the fighting game. He joins smash alongside other characters from the Minecraft series such as Alex, the female alternative to Steve, the Minecraft Zombie, and the Minecraft Enderman.
Collectively, they join the battle as the newest fighter included in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Pass Volume 2 in the widely popular addition to the Super Smash Bros. franchise. Watch some Steve gameplay in the video below!

So far, many great games have been launched in October, so many in fact, that you might not even have the shelf space for them all. New releases include but are not limited to Super Mario Bros. 35, Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Part Time UFO, and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.
That’s just some of the many great titles you will be able to get from the Nintendo eShop, if you visit the store there are many more games, more than I will even be able to write in this article, so go ahead and give the store a browse!
Fire Emblem
We are going all the way back to the year 1990, which was the year the original Fire Emblem game took the country of Japan by storm. Well luckily for you die-hard fans of the Fire Emblem franchise, we have some very good news for you.
The original 1990 Fire Emblem, after three whole decades, has finally been localized in English, so now those of us who are linguistically challenged with the Japanese language will finally be able to know what is going on in the game.
